Apple Is Considering Rivaling Meta in New Smart Glasses Segment
Looks like Apple ($AAPL) wants a clearer vision for the future beyond its Vision Pro. Apple is reportedly doing market research with its employees on a smart glasses product segment that would rival Meta's ($META) Ray Ban smart glasses. The internal study is called "Project Atlas," and it's done with the company's employees to avoid any leaks to the public. The product should work like current AirPods but in a glasses form and should boast improved battery, sensors, and audio. Current Vision Pro faces adoption difficulties as the headset is considered too bulky to become mainstream.

Morningstar Analyst William Kerwin stated that Apple's ultimate eyewear goal is "a form factor closer to glasses."

Their strategy goes beyond traditional LCD screens, incorporating premium features like Mini LED technology while maintaining competitive pricing from $700 to $3,000+.
